Microsoft Windows 7 (32-bit)

i have an external mouse and the touchpad is so sensitive that when hovering over the touchpad the cursor moves.

That didn't work. The tiny miniscule button on my touchpad most does not light up, nor does it disable the touchpad.

The solution given does not work for me. My touchpad has R/L buttons both at top and bottom of touchpad, and ther is no light. When I go to mouse settings, there is nothing listed as touchpad.

The curser jumping makes it impossible to do my job.

Thanks, this is working for my HP 850 G2 notebook. I can see a little yellow LED shining now true my touchpad. I also see a notification on my screen indicating that the touchpad is now off.

 

I´m using Windows 7 with HP drivers (no issues with missing drivers in the system control pannel). So the other who had this kind of issue might wish to check if they use the latest drivers...
