Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

 

The quick answer to your request is that HP does not have drivers for your device for Windows 7, the only drivers on the site are for windows XP and Windows 2000. A mismatch in drivers can result in system freezes, BSOD, etc.

 

It is possible that you can find drivers for your devices from the various OEM's for the individual devices that would work with Windows 7, but it could be hit or miss. Normally HP posts drivers that have either been modified by or vetted by HP engineers to function with the system configurations that are sold and under normal circumstances function well in combination.

 

You can check here for: Nvidia Drivers   

I did look there but from what could see Nvidia did not have drivers for that device for windows 7 either.

 

In practice you may find that an upgrade to windows 7 just may not be practical anyway. As the system is older it may be at or below the recommended minimum configuration for windows 7.
