i tried accessing bios three times with the wrong password and it disabled my system how do i enable it again?

Remove the main battery, the CMOS battery and power adapter. Hold the power button down for 30 seconds and then leave the laptop sit for around 20 minutes.

 Insert the CMOS battery back in and the adpater. When booting up you will be asked to load the BIOS defaults, push enter to continue.

 

 If I knew your exact model number I could help you find the CMOS battery.

 Go to page 5-15 on the service guide to remove the RTC (real time clock) battery and page 5-13 to remove the memory module cover.

Yes they are the same, sorry I should have mentioned that. You know how the industry likes to have different names for the same things just to confuse people.  :TongueOut:

 Pulling the RTC/CMOS battery out as I described should work, but if the password is on the hard drive, removing the RTC battery will have no effect.

 no dont work  when i start my computer the display is black and i get 3 beeps (one long one followed by two short ones) and the screen stays black and nothing happens,i dont think the password is on the hard drive cause i just changed it

You can try replacing the RTC battery and I did some digging and all I can find is that those beep codes mean there may be something wrong with the video card. It's very difficult to be sure as there is no specific information for WinFlash BIOS. 

 

 Here is a page of different beep codes for HP computers. The only one that seems to apply is the one for an Award BIOS.

 Remove one stick of RAM, with the RTC battery in place and if no success try the other stick.
