Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hooked up my HP flat monitor to surface4 docking station and all went well. now getting signal  "input Signal not found" and black screen.  No connections have changed.  What gives?

Welcome to HP Forums and Thanks for the post. 

 

I understand that you are not getting any display on your HP monitor when you connect the monitor to your Surface4 docking station.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps on your own?

May I know the model number of the HP Monitor you are using?

 

Request you connect the monitor directly to your computer and check if you get any display.

If you do not get any display on the monitor when it is connected to your computer directly, please refer to this HP Article for the troubleshooting steps.

For troubleshooting steps from Microsoft, please click here.

If you get the display on your monitor when it is connected to your computer directly, please check for docking station drivers on Microsoft website and check.
