Is there mSATA slot in HP dm3-2015er? I have some free space near WD HDD, it looks like mSATA, but there are no labels.

I tried to use mSATA Crucial 64GB SSD. It was not recognized by BIOS and by Windows 8.

So, mSATA disks are not compatible with dm3-2015er.:smileysad:

Hey Evgeniy,

That is not a mSATA slot on the top left above the hard drive. Its actually a WWAN (Broadband Wireless Module). You can switch out HDD for a SSD if your looking to get some speed out of it but there is not a mSATA built into this laptop.

Hope this helps!

Also -- Here is the service/maintenance manual for your laptop. On page 4-11 it will give you more some information about the WWAN module.
