Remove the USB stick from its current port and insert it into another slot preferrably on the left hand side of the Notebook. If installation does not continue, restart.

It is indeed the USB 3.0 port that makes the trouble!

I solved by simply putting it into a different port and it worked. 🙂

Did you ever get it to work. I'm getting the same problem error with my Elitebook 745 G2.  The widows installation runs but when I click on Install it doesn't give me the acceptance page.  Rather it give me the following page instead.

"A required CD/DVD driver device is missing. If you have a driver floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB Flash driver, please insert it now.

Note: If the Windows installation media is in the CD/DVD driver, you can safely remove it for this step."

Any links to that recovery disk or how to get this installation to move on? Is the .iso that I can download to create a recovery disk or run the drivers?

Thanks
Rgrchico

Yes, I solved it by removing the install media from a USB3 port and continued with a USB2 port.
