 Hey there @Habtget,

Welcome to the HP Support Community where you can ask questions, find solutions and get help from others in the community! I read your post on the HP Support Forums and wanted to reach out to you.

I understand that you have devices called AAS, Bitlisten Service, MAP SMS/MMS and Tethering control channel protocol under the other devices category in your Device Manager.

I did look up some of these device names to see if they were affiliated with HP and if there were driver's available. Based on the research I had done, I found that these devices may be linked to external bluetooth devices or cellphones.

The best suggestion I have to get driver's for these devices is to:

  1. Press Windows and X keys together.

  2. Click on Device Manager..

  3. Right Click on the Device.

  4. Click on Update.

You can also do all of your Windows Updates and use the HP Support Assistant to pull in driver's for all of your HP Devices.

Please let me know if I answered your questions by clicking the 'Thumbs up'.If the troubleshooting steps in this post resolved the issue for you, please click the 'Accept as Solution' button. This will allow others who have the same issue to find the solution also.

Please let me know how this goes!

I also had the same problem with "MAP SMS/MMS" and "Bluetooth Peripheral Device."  When I try to update each one, I get this message "Windows Was unable to install your [item name]."
Are there any recent versions of these drivers that I can use to update manually?

Thanks!

Hi@senorwillburr,

Thanks for using the HP Forums. One Stop for all sort of solutions for your HP Products

I have read your post and understand that you are unable find drivers for the following and you have an error when trying to find one online. Is that, right?

I recommend you to perform the following in the order provided and check if that works.

Hardware test to make sure there are no hardware issues on the PC.

Then try performing the system restore and check if that helps.

If nothing works, follow the link blow and perform the complete reset of the PC back to factory settings.

This should solve the issue.  Let me know for more solution.

http://hp.care/2hQuRgZ doesn't apply to me, since I have a Pavillion PC

http://hp.care/2bSk7wj won't help because I have had the issue for a while and it would take forever to restore back to the point when the issue wasn't there, if there was ever a point when it wasn't there...

Resetting has already been done a few times and I won't do it again.

Any way anyone there has a link to a repair tool for the drivers I mentioned?  Or links to the actual drivers?

Thanks!

Thanks for the response.

The diagnosis link is in general to all the models and it can be performed using the steps mentioned in the link below.
