HP Recommended

The screen on my HP EliteBook 840 G7 14" running windows 11 is only lit at the bottom/middle of the screen the rest is very dim. It was working previously. I have tried adjusting the brightness and other power settings, this did not fix it.

 

I have tried following the rememedy in https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Video-Display-and-Touch/Fixed-The-half-of-my-display-is-dim-c... but it did not work. It must be a different issue.
