Thank you for the compliment.
I guess the only thing you can do is to unplug any expensive devices if you think a storm is coming.
This time of year in St. Louis, MO, USA, is terrible for bad storms.
I shut my PC's down and unplug them if I am home and there is a bad storm on the way.
My insurance deductible is higher now!

I also downloaded the chipset drivers i got told was the right ones and when it comes to install it my laptop says this operating system is not supported by the amd processor driver an i am on windows 7 home premium and model i samsung rv515

Hi:
First download the AMD chipset driver and reboot. First file listed.
http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/raid_windows.aspx#2
Then download the wired ethernet driver from the link below--6th file on the list
I would also need the hardware ID for the wireless network controller in order to provide a link to the driver you need for that.
