M6 Envy
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I am trying to find my IMEI number on my HP Envy laptop (Windows 8.1).

I followed these instructions: http://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c04675222

When I enter netsh mbn sh interface into the command promt it comes up with "Mobile Broadband Service (WWANSVC) is not running"

Is there another way to find the IMEI no.?

Thanks for any help

I grasp that you are trying to connect to WWAN, but have not been successful. Here is a link I hope will help you overcome this difficulty.   HP Notebook PCs - Connecting to a Cellular Broadband Wireless Network (WWAN) (Windows 😎.

Please let me know the results.
