Thank you for your query. I would very much like to help!
I understand that when you try to boot your computer you get a message go to www.hp.com/go/techcenter/startup. It is directing you to the document on HP Startup Menu Overview click here. It is asking you to press F2 on startup, to run the UEFI diagnostics, to determine what caused the error. Please let me know if this has helped.

I have problem with start up:
The following message appears on my screen:
1720 s.m.a.r.t hard drive detects immenent failute.
-start up test failed.
-hard disk 1 smart (301)
Please help me out to solve this problem.
