Hello notebook-pc.
The two most common causes for this error are related to the hard drive and memory. Please begin by running the diagnostics on both. Here are the steps for the hard drive and here are the steps for the memory. Make sure to post the results for both.
Also, what is your product number? This document can show you where it is located.
Have a great day.

Hello Candy13.
You can not download recovery discs. If you have not previously created your own discs and are unable to access the Recovery Partition on your hard drive you'll need to contact HP Support and order the discs. The number for US/Canadian customers is 1-800-474-6836. If you're in another part of the world you'll need to visit HP Support Worldwide to get your region's contact information.
Have a great day!

@Jove wrote:Hi,
I was using cooling pad on my laptop and suddenly the cooling pad is not working anymore and I forget to disconnect the USB connector on it. After a few days everytime I open my laptop a message will appear that the cooling pad is not working and I need to remove it or I have to log on to this site to ask for assistance. I already remove the connector of the cooling pad to my laptop but still the message is still appearing everytime I open my laptop. What should I do? Please advice. Is it healthy for the laptop to use a cooling pad? Also advice. Thank you so much.
Hello Jove.
There is nothing unsafe about using a Cooling Pad. It sounds like there is some software related to the cooling pad installed on the machine which is trying to detect the product. If you uninstall this software it should remove the message.
Have a great day.
