Hi ive been thralling through the support posts and im having exactly the same issues as many others it seems
sudden vertical ghosting on the display its constant - exactly as described here
ive gone through all the posts updated all the drivers and bios same problem - this started yesterday and as i read will only get worse. I need this machine for my livelihood i'm a VFX professional and exacting image display is imperative and by the sounds of things i can only expect this problem to get worse.
the machine is just over 2years old and i'm out of warranty i'm finding it difficult to fine a support number to call. none of the solutions on this related thread are solving this issue. please advise

Welcome to HP Community
I have gone through your Post and would like to help
I suggest you download and run the HP Support Assistant from this Link: https://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/hpsupportassistant/hpsupport.html?jumpid=va_r602_us/en/any/psg/p...
HPSA will automatically search for all the latest drivers for your Notebook
-
Click My devices in the top menu, and then click Updates in the My PC or My notebook pane.
-
Click Check for updates and messages to scan for new updates.
-
Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
-
Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
-
Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
Also ensure Windows is up to date.
Select the Start button, and then go to Settings > Update & security > Windows Update , and select Check for updates. If Windows Update says your device is up to date, you have all the updates that are currently available
Keep me posted how it goes
Thank you and have a wonderful day 😊

Hi thanks for the response
everything is up to date on the machine, The problem is now worse and i have significant ghosting on the Display.
Through my research on this site i can see that this is a known hardware problem with the HP Spectre X360. It seems to occur after the 18month mark when everything is out of warranty. the display is now worse than my 10 yr old HP laptop and becoming unusable
my issue is EXACTLY LIKE THE FOLLOWING POST
and there are several others
it seems that HP wont assist at all if your machine is out of warranty. i cant believe a machine of this value uses components thats breakdown after very minimal usage at the 18 month mark. Appalling!
in order to keep earning a living i have to purchace an external 4K monitor. After being with HP machine both personally and professionally ( I'm a VFX professional ). for over 15 years i'm disappointed to the point of being angry
