Hi! Im hoping you can help 🙂 im having the same problem...i hooked up my hp g61 to tv via hdmi, tv didnt acknowledge laptop so i went to control panel and changed settings to only show image on projector. Now laptop screen is black...i can hear and see windows loading but before it comes to the desktop, the screen just goes black. Please help!! Thank you 🙂

Oh and ive tried the method you suggested and nothing. The product number is wa965ua#abc and model number is g61-420ca. When i run it in safe mode it does work btw. Thanks!!
