The CPU C2D T5200 does not work instead of Celeron M 440.

Bios starts and shows c2d T5200 well, but the system does not start.

There is any possibility to solve the problem?

If Bios starts & works, does mean it, that CPU can work on this notebook ?

Hi:

I would think if the BIOS starts and works that everything should work.

Did you try reinstalling the operating system?

If you did, and it still doesn't boot into Windows, then I have no idea what the problem is.

With CPU C2D notebook does not read Windows Installation DVD. I can try again to install system this weekend.

But I think, that if CPU works, then it should start the Windows and later be stoped.

Nevertheless thanks, i will learn this problem further.

Regards.

Hello from France,

I'm very interested by upgrading the CPU of my NX7300 too, I already installed the BIOS F.0E, 2Go RAM (Max size supported) and an internal SSD 2,5" internal drive.

Did you succed in replacing your CPU, did it work fine after reinstalling OS ?

My actual is a CELERON M 430 @1.73Ghz, I see on the previous link that Intel Core Duo T7600 (2.33-GHz) processor was available for NX7300 (used lower than 100$ on internet), can I just replace by plug&play , reinstall OS and All will be OK ?

Thanks for your reply,
