about a month ago i spilled water on my laptop, it stopped working imediatly so i dried it out. weeks later i tried it again and it turned on and i was able to boot up windows 7 but i noticed my keyboard was malfunctioning, keystrokes will do two things at once or a totaly different thing. When i turn on the lap top it does a sequence of beeps that continually beep short.short.short.short over and over till i select resume windows normally. sometimes the touch pad wont work and if i click on something it will try to delete it at a spaming rate. i ran a memory diagnostic, that came out clean. I have a HP-pavillion g7 notebook laptop with windows 7

Hello Jl89,
I understand after having an accident with some water and your computer, your computer is no having several different issues, is that correct? I will do what I can to help with this issue.
To me it sounds like the water has done some damage to your hardware, starting with keyboard and possibly working its way down. Now the memory is on the bottom side so the water may not have affected it but I’m pretty sure its cause some issues with keyboard or the connecter the keyboard plugs into on the motherboard.
Here is a link that might answer some questions about the beeping you periodically get on startup. I believe eventually you’re going to have to replace the keyboard now again there is a good chance the connector itself on the board was affected and with that being said the motherboard would need to be replaced. Or you could get by and just use an external keyboard just another option.
Here is the service manual for your computer that will help you replace the keyboard if you decide to do it on your own it starts on page 57. This manual will also help replace any other hardware in the computer if you need to do so.
If I have been helpful or if you’d like to say thanks you can click the white star under my name to give me Kudos. I really appreciate it.
Please respond at your earliest convenience with any other questions.
Thanks

Hi LilJoe99,
Sorry to hear about the water spill. Never enjoy hearing that happen to someone, it happened to me and I wasn't able to recovery the laptop. There could be some damage to the sound card from the water.
Check device manager to see if the card is still showing as installed. You will be checking under Audio. If there an exclamation mark on the device there that means there is a problem with it.
