Solved: windows 8 new driver for bluetooth - HP Support Community

after updating to windows 8 pro i can't install the drivers for bluetooth.

It's impossible to install the drivers broadcom (ver. 12.0.0.2100) , the installation don't end because bluetooth is not activated. I can not activate bluetooth because "HP connection manager" didn't start.

my hp is a pavilion dv6-7090el product number is B3K94EA#ABZ serial n° [edited by Moderator]

More than likely HP is not going to support hardware for W8 on any system purchased before Oct 1st 2011. Some updates for W8, most W7 drivers will work in W8.

I have a HP Probook 4530s and my bluetoot will not turn on and I have tried many drivers. I cannot even identify for sure what bluetooth board I have. I think it quit after Win 8 was installed. The laptop came with win 7

The specifications of the computer indicate that FreeDOS was the operating system that was utilized when the product was released.
