  • Windows driver corruption
  • External mouse conflicts
  • BIOS or firmware issues
  • Hardware failure in the touchscreen digitizer

Restart the Computer

A temporary software glitch can sometimes cause erratic cursor movement or phantom touch inputs.

Steps

  1. Save your work.
  2. Click Start.
  3. Select Power > Restart.

After restarting, check whether:

  • The circle orbs disappear
  • The mouse behaves normally
  • Navigation improves

Disconnect External Devices

External USB devices may interfere with mouse or touchscreen input.
