Which stylus should I purchase to go with my touchscreen notebook?
If you're looking for an active stylus, which supports features like right-click and pressure sensitivity, you'll first want to make sure that your notebook model is compatible.
Sometimes your laptop model may not be listed in HP's Stylus Compatibility List.
In that case, post a new question under Notebook, Video, Display and Touch, clearly stating your full product/model number and an HP Expert can use an internal marketing database to look up more specific information regarding your laptop's compatible accessories. (Please do not post serial numbers on the HP Support Forum)Information on how to find a laptop's model/product number is detailed in this HP document.
You can also always choose to contact HP Support and ask them directly,
If an active stylus (pressure sensitivity, tilt support, button programming) is not available, you can choose to use a passive stylus with your touchscreen HP laptop, which should be available at your nearest tech shop. Passive styluses essentially act the same way as your finger.
