This procedure explains how to install the APP Series EHS cable, which is compatible with Avaya phones:

 

Special Requirements

  • Please note that for older Plantronics models like CS50, CS55, CS60, CS70, CS70N, CS351N, or CS361N, the ring detect cable (Part Number 71737-02) is required.
  • 24XX and 54XX phones require firmware 4.0 or greater
  • 9608 and 96X1 phones require version 6.1 SP3 on their server

To Install the EHS Cable

  1. On your base, set your compatibility switch and speaking and listening volumes to the following:
