What’s Happening

You might have noticed that the Streaming Audio enable/disable option doesn’t appear in the HP Poly Studio app when using your Voyager Legend 50. It’s understandable to wonder if it was removed or if something isn’t working right.

Why It Happens

The Streaming Audio option was never available for the Voyager Legend 50, so it hasn’t been removed, it’s just not part of this model.

For this headset, streaming (media) audio is handled automatically by your device through Bluetooth and system audio settings, rather than a manual control in HP Poly Studio.

What You Can Expect

  • The Voyager Legend 50 supports both calls and media audio.
  • Poly Lens will not show a toggle for streaming audio.
  • Media audio works as long as your device’s Bluetooth and sound settings are set correctly.

How to Make Sure Streaming Audio Works

On Mobile Devices:

  1. Open Bluetooth Settings
  2. Select Voyager Legend 50
  3. Make sure Media Audio is enabled

On Windows or Mac:

  1. Open Sound Settings
  2. Choose Voyager Legend 50 – Stereo / Media Audio as your output device
  3. Avoid selecting Hands-Free / Call Audio only

If It Still Doesn’t Work

  • Turn the headset off and on again
  • Forget and re-pair the headset via Bluetooth
  • Check for firmware updates using HP Poly Studio

The Voyager Legend 50 does not have a manual Streaming Audio option in HP Poly Studio. This is normal. Streaming audio is automatically managed by your device’s Bluetooth and sound settings, so you don’t need to change anything in HP Poly Studio App to make it work.
