Poly and other manufacturers produce these optimized for Microsoft® Lync® or Skype® for Business devices after a reference design, and the embedded OS running on the phones is provided, supported, and maintained by our partner Microsoft®.
You therefore may want to reach out to Microsoft® support directly instead, as this is the most direct and efficient path.
Poly does not host the firmware on these devices, and our Partner Microsoft hosts and distributes this software.
Only Microsoft can provide access to older software versions, and you can only update these CX phones via a Skype for Business or LYNC server.
The Software for the Poly CX500, CX600, CX700, CX3000 and CX5000 is no longer hosted by Poly
The CX100, CX200, and CX300 require an installed version of Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Skype for Business, Microsoft® Office Communicator, or LYNC, and the required drivers are installed automatically.
