Issue Description
The Surround 85 headset is not charging when placed on the wireless charging stand, or charging is inconsistent.

Applicable Models
Poly Surround 85 Headset with Wireless Charging Stand

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Update firmware using HP Poly Studio
Open the HP Poly Studio application and ensure that both the headset and the wireless charging stand have the latest firmware installed. After updating, test the charging functionality.

  2. Verify the power source
Connect the wireless charging stand to a different power outlet to rule out power supply issues.

  3. Try an alternate power adapter
If available, use another compatible power adapter to confirm whether the issue is related to the original adapter.

  4. Reset the headset
Perform a reset of the headset using the HP Poly Studio application. Reconnect the device and check charging behavior.

  5. Check headset placement on the charging stand
Ensure the headset is properly aligned on the charging stand and seated correctly for charging.

  6. Test with another setup
If possible, test the headset and charging stand with a different PC or environment to isolate the issue.

Following these steps helps determine whether the issue is related to firmware, power source, or device setup. If the problem persists, it is likely due to a hardware-related concern.
