Device not recognized by PC
If Poly Studio R30 isn’t recognized by your PC, verify the operating systems version. Your PC must have Windows 8.1, 10, 11 or higher or Mac OS 10.10 or higher.
- Check if you are using a Poly cable
- Test a different cable
- Remove any extensions or hubs and connect the R30 directly to your PC
- Test a different USB Port
- Listen for the indication that the device is connected from your PC
- Check device manager to ensure that the PC recognizes the device
Device not recognized by application
If the Poly Studio R30 is not recognized by the application, you are using for your meeting:
- Ensure it's recognized by the PC
- Check that it’s not being used by another application
- Verify that the Poly Studio R30 is set as your default device or selected in the software
Device not recognized by Poly Lens
When the device is not recognized by Poly Lens Desktop or Lens Cloud:
- Ensure you are signed into Lens Desktop
- Check you are signed into the correct tenant in Lens Cloud
- Confirm that you are in the correct account in Lens Cloud
If the Poly Studio R30 is not recognized by Lens Cloud check whether:
- The device is connected to the Wi-Fi
- The device is provisioned
