FAQ's
Q: Does the Studio V52 use the same OS as Studio X series?
A: No. The Studio V52 will use a new OS called PolyOSLite. PolyOSLite 1.0 will be the release version included with the Studio v52.
Q: Is PolyOSLite compatible with the Studio X series?
A: No. The Studio X series will continue to use PolyOS.
Q: Since the Studio V52 is similar to the Studio X52 in device only mode, is it possible to upgrade the V52 to compare to the useability of the Studio X series?
A: No. Although the V52 is designed to look and feel like an X52, it is a different hardware with different capacity, and it’s not possible to install PolyOS on it or use it in “Teams” or Zoom mode, for example.
