HP Envy 7640
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have a problem with banding across the 8 1/2 width left to right. I print greeting cards and it really shows up on dark colors. I have run the alignment, the cleaning and even changed the cartridges. The line is dark and 1/2 inch apart. It almost appears to be an overlap. Any suggestions.

Do you experience the same issue if you make Photocopies?

If possible please post a picture of the printout so we can understand the problem better

Also let me know if you face the same issue when printing regular papers or it's only when printing cards

Thank you

Sorry for the late response. I posted about a banding problem on my Envy 7640. To answer your question, this is a photocopy of the original. As you know it appears vertical but when it comes out of the printer it's horizontal left to right. I have tried it on plain paper as opposed to greeting card stock and have the same results. Thank you for your interest.  JQBanding.jpg

Thanks for keeping me posted

Are you printing using the HP Printer Assistant Software or the HP Smart App?
