Product: PageWide Color MFP 586

Hey,

I ordered a 981Y yellow cartridge for our PageWide MFP 586 printer last week. The shop however sent me a 981YC. As far as I understand, it's basically the same cartridge but for managed printer models. The shop says it's 100% compatible with the 586. 

 

Does anyone know if that's true?

It will work, the C stands for contractual.

 

The article is for toner cartridges but the inkjet cartridges apply:
