Having bought my 4520 Envy in Singapore, I have now moved to the UK.

I would like to request regionalisation codes as my 302 cartridge is showing as non-compatible

@VictorX

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Yes, we'll have to do a region reset.

To do a printer region reset you need to meet the following conditions:

1. The printer should be connected using a printer USB cable to the computer.

2. You need to have the printer full feature software installed on your computer.

3. You need to have all the cartridges either from the region from where the printer was purchased originally or the new region to which you want to reset it to.

Please do let us know.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!

•Click the Utility tab.

•Click Open Printer Utility.

•De-select the printer to reset. Click another printer name (if a second printer is installed) or click the Printers folder.

•Hold down the Option key, and then click to reselect the printer to reset. Continue to hold the Option key until the Set New Region window opens. This might take several seconds.

Use the "Copy to Clipboard" feature to paste the values here or take a screenshot of the screen and send it to me in private.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the "Accept as solution" on my public post, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

I'm sorry, I am unable to follow your advice.

Do you mean to hide printer from HP app and then re-add?

Or from the Mac applications page?

I have done both and pressing gOption button is not bringing up the region

Please help

Thanks

You're supposed to do this on your MAC.

Hi Betty

Yes, I appreciate that I would be doing it on my Mac. However, I still need further clarification on the steps.

Please advise

Thanks

This is not on the HP Smart App.

Do go to Utilities and follow the steps mentioned.

Let me know if this helps.

Hi.When I add printer, I am not seeing any additional values, even though I am pressing the Option key. It merely adds the printer as normal.

Please advise

Thanks

Isn't the Printer already installed on your MAC?
