My printer keeps giving me an incompatible cartridge message which means I can print even though it is an original cartridge. Can you helo

ive tried the troubleshooting, updated the firmware, cleaning the contacts. The only thing I haven’t done is purchased new ink cartridges which I am reluctant to do if this doesn’t fix the issue.

Which ink cartridge is defective?

Insert one ink cartridge at a time to identify the defective one.

 

Make sure you have tried the steps from - HP Printer Does not Print and Error Indicates Faulty Ink Cartridge

 

If the error persists, please reach out to the HP Technical Support team in your region regarding the replacement options for the defective ink cartridge. 

You may create a case on the website to obtain a case number if required. Kindly watch this video to know how.
