Microsoft Windows 11

The print diagnostic and Hp smart app say I have enough black ink in my HP instant ink cartridge and won't send me another one for another month, but everything I print comes out with no black ink as though it were empty. How do I tell HP that the estimated ink level is incorrect and I need a new cartridge??

Also I've already tried multiple automatic diagnostic options, uninstalled software, removed the printer, etc, pretty much everything.

To assist better-

 

1) Does the copy print out the same way? 

2) What's the application you are trying to print from? Have you tried printing from a different application or device? 

 

While you respond to that, let's print a Print Quality Diagnostic page -Post the Print Quality Diagnostic page here so we can help you further. 

 

You may also refer to this document with steps to fix the " Print Quality Issues" issue applicable for your printer -  Print Quality Issues

 

Also, try updating the printer's firmware - HP Printers - Updating or Upgrading Printer Firmware
