This forum is kind of my last resort because I have tried everything….
The problem: I put brand new ink cartridges in my printer and my printer won’t print any color at all. I have an HP office jet 6958 printer with 902 ink. 
What I have already done: I have run it through the cycle to clean the print head 3 times. I also tried aligning the print head but for some reason the page wouldn’t scan so that didn’t do anything. I checked to make sure I didn’t buy expired ink cartridges and the vents on top of each one are just fine and have no debris. I tried printing multiple test pages from different computers so it’s definitely not the computer I’m using or what I’m printing….something is wrong with the printer!!! This printer is about 2.5 years old but was in storage recently for about 3 months. Since we didn’t use it for a while, I thought maybe the print head is clogged, but again, I already cleaned it 3 times. HELP!

No, I am still not able to print in color. I tried redownloading my printing software but that did not solve the problem

It could be a defective new ink.

 

I recommend you to contact the HP Support Team regarding a replacement ink.
