Ok this will be a little bit difficult to explain for a non-native English speaker because is a strange thing that never happened so please be patient.

I bought this printer yesterday,laserjet pro m15w. I tried to print a pdf document via google chrome/firefox and edge (in windows 10), I noticed that the printer is unable to print correctly a part of the document , a line with some dots, i mean are printed but is a really light print hard to see. but if i try to print this pdf through the hp smart app the document is printed correctly even with the missing lines/points.  

I try to explain better with more details, it seems that some parts are printed with a really light black, while if I use the hp app everything is printed correctly. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? can't find in windows 10 a printer options for change the color for try to get more darker prints etc.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • Are you able to make copies from the printer?

Let's try these steps to resolve the issue: 

Download and run HP Print and Scan Doctor: Follow steps from the link: Click here

 

Root level uninstall and reinstall printer drivers

  • Go to Control panel – Programs and feature – Select all the HP LaserJet printer entries and uninstall them.
  • Now go to Control panel – Devices and printer – Select all the printer entries and remove the device.
  • Then press the "windows key" + "r" to get the "Run" window open - Type "printui.exe /s" and press enter.
  • Under print server properties, go to drivers - remove any entry there as well.
  • Again, go to run window, type – “c:/programdata” – Go to Hewlett Packard folder, remove any printer related folders & files.

To reinstall, click here.
