Hi all. This is now the second time I had to replace the ink cartridges in my printer whilst they are still half full. It feels like the cartridges are no longer expressing ink. I have done the cleaning process many times, and run through all of the allignment and other issues options in the software. Im really tired of this - I cant just use my printer when i need to, because now I have to wait days for replacement cartridges. AND its really wasteful, and expensive, for my to have to keep buying new ones when they are still half full. I have even tried cleaning them  by hand, which is only marginally better. Currently there is no black at all coming out, even though if i take a swab to it it comes out fine, and the colours are very, very faded and streaky. There are barely any marks visible on pages i have tried to print.

I have the same problem with my Officejet Pro 7740 wide format printer/scanner. It is 4 months outside of the 3 year warranty and has suddenly stopped printing properly. The print is faded. I have cleaned and realigned multiple times and have put in a complete set of brand new cartridges.
