Printing PDF documents - the  text content of some 'boxes' in the document does not print in detail - just a streaky black or solid black image in the field

@rha44307, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

 

  • Is this issue limited to printing PDF documents?
  • Have you tried printing different types of documents like Word or Webpages and check if the issue persists?

If the issue occurs only while printing PDF documents, this could be an application-specific issue.

Update the Adobe reader or reinstall it.

Try printing the PDF document as an image and check if that helps. Refer to this document.
