When the cover is raised, the drum drive gear is moved backwards and sideways behind the wall by the mechanism, but when the cover is lowered, it does not return to the initial state, it remains in place behind the wall. I tried changing the spring, but it does not help. No design faults have been noticed.
Who knows why this pinion should be moved to the side? This has never happened in any printer before.
