Hi @Ggarber1424,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The "size mismatch" error on your HP DeskJet Plus 4155 All-In-One Printer typically occurs when the paper size settings in the printer do not match the paper size settings in the print job. Here’s how you can troubleshoot and resolve this issue.
Check Paper Size Settings on Printer:
- Make sure the paper size settings on the printer control panel match the actual paper loaded. For letter size (LTR), ensure that LTR is selected on the printer's settings.
Check Paper Guides and Paper Tray:
- Ensure that the paper guides in the paper tray are adjusted correctly to fit the size of the paper you are using (LTR size in your case).
Check Print Settings on Computer:
- When printing from your computer, verify that the paper size selected in the print settings matches the paper loaded in the printer (LTR size).
Reset Printer and Print Jobs:
- Turn off the printer, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on. Sometimes, resetting the printer can resolve temporary issues.
Update Printer Firmware (if applicable):
- Check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve software-related issues.
Reload Paper:
- Remove the paper from the tray, ensure it’s aligned properly and not damaged, then reload it into the tray.
Try Different Paper:
- If possible, try using a different batch or brand of LTR size paper to see if the issue persists.
Check for Obstructions:
- Inspect the printer for any obstructions that may be interfering with the paper feed or causing the error.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.

I have done all of the suggestions over the years but the problem persists. Often turning off/on fixes it, but too ofen I abandon the print try, and do it tomorrow, which usually works. Can absorbed moisture in my 'lower level' (basement) cause this!
