Hi @lesa98,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9015e is having trouble feeding 4x6 photo paper from the tray, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:
Paper Type and Size Settings:
- Make sure that the paper type and size settings in the printer driver match the settings of the photo paper you are using. Adjust the settings through the printer software on your computer.
Paper Condition:
- Ensure that the photo paper is not sticking together or damaged. Separate the sheets and verify that they are not bent or curled.
Paper Orientation:
- Check the orientation of the photo paper. It should be loaded into the tray with the printable side facing down.
Paper Guides:
- Adjust the paper guides in the tray to fit snugly against the edges of the photo paper. This helps prevent misalignment and ensures proper paper feeding.
Clean Rollers:
- Dust or debris on the paper rollers can lead to feeding issues. Use a lint-free cloth lightly moistened with water to clean the rollers. Refer to your printer's manual for specific instructions on accessing and cleaning the rollers.
Fan the Paper:
- Before loading the photo paper into the tray, fan the sheets to separate them. This helps prevent multiple sheets from feeding at once.
Paper Quantity:
- Ensure that you are not overloading the paper tray. Only load the recommended number of sheets for the tray capacity.

Try Another Tray:
- If your printer has multiple trays, try loading the 4x6 photo paper into a different tray to see if the issue persists.
If the problem continues after trying the above steps, consider reaching out to HP phone support for further assistance.
