HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 All-in-One Printer

Card stock is jamming; it never used to.  I believe it is the rubber rollers on the paper path cover.  If so, I need to purchase a new one.  Where can I get a new paper path cover for the 8710? Thx.

Hi @BruceH58 ,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If you're experiencing issues with card stock jamming in your HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 and suspect that the rubber rollers on the paper path cover are the problem, you may want to try a few troubleshooting steps before seeking a replacement part.

Clean the Rollers: Dust and debris on the rollers can lead to jams. Turn off the printer, disconnect the power cord, and open the printer's access door. Locate the rollers and clean them with a lint-free cloth dampened with water. Make sure they are dry before closing the access door and turning the printer back on.

Adjust Paper Settings: Ensure that the paper settings in the printer software or on the printer's control panel match the type and size of the card stock you are using. Incorrect settings can lead to feeding issues.

Fan the Card Stock: Before loading the card stock, fan the sheets to prevent them from sticking together.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
