Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Just had an update on my hp 8710 printer . printer instantly quit working, giving unrecognized cartridge error message. tried resetting now the cartridge rack slams into right side gives paper jam error also.  does not return to left side when opening the cartridge door. Not happy about what hp has done in this update. made my printer worthless; wheres the liability for hp blocking so many printers.
