HP Smart Tank 7602 All-in-One
Microsoft Windows 11

the display keeps telling me that there is a ADF Jam.  There is no jam!  It's driving me crazy.  The printer is brand new, and I already hate it!

What display? There is no display in 7602 smart tank.

Does it copy from ADF?

The Smart Tank 7602 has a display on the top of the printer.  I have the exact same problem and the printer is new.

Same here.  Mine is also brand new.  I've checked everywhere to see if there's some packaging stuff that got stuck or didn't get removed when I set it up, I've cleaned all the rollers, I've turned it off and on, unplugged it and plugged it back in after a minute. I've even scanned a couple of things through it, which go through without issue.  There is nothing in there, and yet, it keeps beeping and telling me there's a jam.  It's absolutely infuriating.

Also infuriating that no one from HP ever answered the OP's original complaint from 2 months ago and the only person who did respond arrogantly says "there's no display" which indicates that they don't know anything about this printer, since those of us who actually own it know that there is obviously a display.  Since at least three of us have had this happen with brand new printers, it seems to me that this printer is defective and HP should be ashamed of themselves.  If no one from HP can be bothered to respond to this issue, I'll likely return mine as defective and buy a Canon.

Hi there, did you find a solution? I am having the same problem, the printer is brand new. I keep clearing the code and it comes back.
