ADF PAPER JAM....ALWAYS ON THE 3RD PAGE

Automatic Document Feeder 

as of late when i attempt to scan a document to create a pdf .

...the ADF continually jams half way through the 3rd sheet of paper 

the first two sheets of paper never jam

there are no markings on the edges of any of the sheets of paper 

that would show that the paper is not feeding evenly 

i've cleaned the rollers 

and done the power cord removal reset 

the printer works fine otherwise.....flat bed scan , printing , copying etc etc
