I've used Kodak Photo paper 180 GSM and it seems to jam often in my HP ENVOY 4520.

What is the proper photo paper to use?

I tested photo papers from few different brands on few different printers from HP, Canon and Epson and guess what, Kodak Ultima Photo Paper (Glossy) which says "Brilliant Corlour Photos That Last Over 100 years (sic) is the worst.

In general the following HP papers are very good to the best for all my tests (I bought from the following chain)

             https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/hp-200gsm-4-x-6-everyday-glossy-photo-paper-100-sh...

Now I don't print photos at home (except when I need few urgently). I use Photos Printing Services from same chain above because much, much cheaper. For example: the cost (self serve) of 4x6 photos for 10 cent each. As you see above, printing from home will cost over 18c each for paper plus $ for inks.

It does make sense to use HP Photo papers for HP printers.

Regards.
