Product: HP OfficeJet Pro 8740 All-in-One Printer

I am getting the carriage jam error, and have read all the resources online. There is no visible paper jam at all, and the carriage head is stuck to the far left. I am unable to move it at all. Any tips? Do I need to remove parts of the printer to get to it?
