Hello,
I have an HP OfficeJet 5255. I’ve had it for several years with no problem. Recently, I have gotten the error “Carriage Jam: Open the cartridge access door, clear any paper jam or obstruction, and then make sure the cartridges are installed correctly.” I have done all these things - there are no paper jams and the cartridges are installed correctly. I have also followed all the instructions on the troubleshooting page for the issue - reinstalling cartridges, resetting, etc and have had no resolution. What do I do now?

As you have already tried the troubleshooting steps, this could be a hardware issue with the unit and may need repair.
