Hi @Rfm3249,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e is showing a cartridge jam error, it usually means the carriage (the part that holds the ink cartridges) is stuck or obstructed. Here's how to fix it step by step:

1. Turn Off and Unplug the Printer

  • Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
  • Unplug the power cord from the wall and the back of the printer.
  • Wait 60 seconds.

2. Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door

  • Lift the access door to expose the ink carriage.
  • If the carriage is stuck, gently move it left and right to check for obstructions.

3. Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges

  • Press down on each cartridge to release it.
  • Remove all cartridges.
  • Check for any paper scraps, ink buildup, or debris inside the carriage path.
  • Reinsert the cartridges firmly until they click into place.

4. Check the Carriage Path

  • Use a flashlight to inspect the entire carriage path.
  • Look for:
    • Torn paper
    • Loose labels
    • Ink spills
  • Gently clean with a lint-free cloth if needed.

5. Plug In and Restart

  • Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
  • Wait for it to initialize and check if the error clears.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
