Hi @Rfm3249,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP OfficeJet Pro 9125e is showing a cartridge jam error, it usually means the carriage (the part that holds the ink cartridges) is stuck or obstructed. Here's how to fix it step by step:
1. Turn Off and Unplug the Printer
- Press the Power button to turn off the printer.
- Unplug the power cord from the wall and the back of the printer.
- Wait 60 seconds.
2. Open the Ink Cartridge Access Door
- Lift the access door to expose the ink carriage.
- If the carriage is stuck, gently move it left and right to check for obstructions.
3. Remove and Reinsert Ink Cartridges
- Press down on each cartridge to release it.
- Remove all cartridges.
- Check for any paper scraps, ink buildup, or debris inside the carriage path.
- Reinsert the cartridges firmly until they click into place.
4. Check the Carriage Path
- Use a flashlight to inspect the entire carriage path.
- Look for:
- Torn paper
- Loose labels
- Ink spills
- Gently clean with a lint-free cloth if needed.
5. Plug In and Restart
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
- Wait for it to initialize and check if the error clears.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
