Product: HP ENVY 5540 All-in-One Printer

My printer is making clicking sounds and displaying an error message saying no paper (while there is paper).

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:  

  • Solution one: Check the paper, and then reload it
  • Solution two: Adjust the paper settings in the print driver
  • Solution three: Clean the paper feed and pick rollers
  • Solution four: Reset the printer
