HP Color LaserJet CP2025Dn
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Trying to print double sided, it prints one (double sided) page, then says "paper jam". I need to remove the partial fed sheet from Tray 2, then switch off and restart the printer or the Win10 PC will refuse to print to it as it remembers the paper feed error, even though it has been cleared. Jobs just back up on the printer queue.

Using Laser Quality A4 80gsm paper. The pickup roller appears to still have friction ridges.

The printer prints single sided  multiple sheets ok from Tray 1 and Tray 2.

Please can you tell me what the likely resolution is?

If it feeds single sided fine you can pretty much rule out of pickup roller. When duplexing the page ejects most of the way and then is pulled back in. Where in the print process is this the failure happening? Is the paper damaged at all? The first thing I would check would be to make sure that the paper size settings on the printer are correct and have not been changed as a size issue will cause a jam because the printer is expecting the paper to pass certain sensors at a certain time and if that does not happen it assumes the paper has stopped moving through the printer and stops printing to prevent damage.
