Product: HP Color LaserJet CM2320fxi MFP
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi everyone. I have an HP Color LaserJet CM2320fxi MFP and it has been a beast of a printer for years.
Today I printed several documents and then on my next print the printer got stuck in a loop. Here is what happens:
- I click print on my program and send the document to the printer
- The printer then starts the print process, I can hear the gears turning and things spinning up just like normal
- Then after about 5 seconds the process stops and then about half a second later starts over again
- This continues to happen, starts to spin - stops - starts over, in an endless loop until I hold the cancel button or turn the printer off.
Here is what I have tried so far:
- Ran HP Printer Doctor - it said everything was fine and then when printing the test page it failed to print (cycle above)
- Unplugged the printer and plugged it back in
- Made sure the print cue was clear
- Used different paper trays. My default is Tray 3 but emptied it and put paper in Tray 2. Then emptied both 2 and 3 and put paper in Tray 1. In all three cases the same thing kept happening
- Opened the back door and looked for broken parts or stuck paper and saw nothing
- Opened the toner tray and took all the colors out, made sure they were not stuck or broken or jammed
Any other ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
