I have the mentioned printer/scanner that one of our users is attempting to make a scan.  she has placed the scan on the inside scanning surface, but, when she goes to scan it wants to read from the ADF and says there is nothing there (which is a factual statement).  I can't locate any way to get the scanner to recognize that it should scan from the main scan bed and not the ADF.  We did a workaround where we copied what was there and scanned that in via the ADF.  Am I missing something, or is it just how that printer is set up?

Need to know what software you are trying to scan with.

Sorry for the delay, the user is going through the HP Printer Assistant app.
