My printer has been displaying the message "The printer update could not be downloaded" for several days.
I have tried rebooting the printer also connecting the printer to my computer with an ethernet cable. Nothing seems to work.
Suggestions please.

Hi @RickHaberman,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble downloading the HP OfficeJet Pro 9025 All-In-One Printer software. Download issues can occur for various reasons, but I'll provide you with some general troubleshooting steps that may help you resolve the problem.
- Check Your Internet Connection: Ensure that you have a stable internet connection. A poor or intermittent connection can lead to download failures.
- Disable Firewall or Antivirus Software: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus software can block downloads. Temporarily disable them and try downloading the software again. Be sure to enable them afterward to maintain security.
- Use HP's Official Website: Go to the official HP website to download the software for your printer. Make sure you are using the correct website: https://support.hp.com.
- Select the Correct Operating System: Ensure that you select the right operating system (e.g., Windows, macOS) and version when downloading the software to match your computer.
- Clear Your Browser Cache: If you're downloading from a web browser, clear your browser's cache and cookies. Sometimes, cached data can interfere with downloads.
- Try a Different Browser: If you're using a web browser to download the software, try a different browser. Sometimes, certain browsers may have issues with specific websites.
- Download from a Different Device: If possible, try downloading the software from a different device to see if the issue is specific to your computer.
- Use a Download Manager: Consider using a download manager tool to help with the download process. These tools can sometimes manage downloads more efficiently.
- Check for Server Issues: Occasionally, the server hosting the download files may be experiencing issues. In such cases, waiting for some time and trying again later can resolve the problem.
Remember to download the software directly from the official HP website to ensure that you are getting the legitimate and latest version of the software. Additionally, ensure that your computer meets the system requirements for the printer software you are trying to install.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
